During the 4th quarter of 2019 all remaining punch items were completed. The building has been open and operational since April of 2019.

During the 3rd quarter of 2019 MB Kahn continued work on the punchlist items, finalizing the as-built documents, and completing the warranty and owners/maintenance manuals. The project, with exception of a few administrative items, is complete.

During the 2nd quarter of 2019 the grand opening of the facility took place. MB Kahn continued to work on the closeout of the design team punchlist items, finalize the as-built documents, and complete the warranty and owners/maintenance manuals.

Within the first quarter of 2019 construction of the building and site was completed and the Certificate of Occupancy was issued. Staff has moved into the building and a grand opening ceremony is scheduled for April 12th & 13th, 2019.

Over the fourth quarter of 2018 construction has continued on the building with the main focus on finishing of the interiors, finishing the exterior details, and final site work and landscaping. The project remains in budget. Substantial completion has been extended out and is anticipated for the first quarter of 2019 along with owner move-in and a grand opening.

During the third quarter of 2018 construction has continued with permanent power being provided to the building, drywall completion and interior finishes underway, theater improvements underway, exterior improvements including the roof leaders, construction of the service yard screen walls, installation of the marquee, curbing, sidewalks and grading being completed. The project remains in budget. Substantial completion is scheduled for December 7, 2018 with furniture, fixtures and equipment to be installed late November/early December 2018.

Work continues with no change orders or funding issues. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project should be at Substantial Completion by September 1, 2018 with furniture, fixtures and equipment installation completed by October 2018.

Lightweight concrete on the roof deck is complete. Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing and roof blocking is in progress following the installation of high roof brickwork. Brick on the project is approximately 60% complete on the exterior of the building. Brick has also started at the interior corridors and is approximately 25% complete. Damp proofing on the exterior of the building continues ahead of brick installation. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough ins are approximately 95% complete on the first floor and 75% complete on the second floor. The fireproofing contractor will return on 5-1-18 to complete the fireproofing application on the second floor. Cleaning of exposed Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) is in progress on the interior of the building. Storefront materials were delivered and installation of windows is in progress. Building exterior metal accent panels have been installed at the theater. Plaster work is in progress inside the theater. During the month of May, the concentration will continue on drying the building in by focusing on completing brick work, roofing, and installing windows in preparation to start finishes.

The construction of this project started on October 31, 2016 and the estimated substation completion is June/July 2018. The construction is about 60% complete, and the construction milestones completed are: Site Demo; Removal of unsuitable subgrade soils and replacement with structural fill; Removal and remediation of two underground storage tanks; Construction of reinforced concrete foundation and building slab; Installation of underground utilities (electric, water and sewer); Masonry wall construction; Mechanical, electrical and plumbing in wall rough in; Second floor metal decking and concrete slab; Theater metal trusses; Structural steel installation for back of house and classroom wing; Acoustical spray insulation in theater; CMU load bearing walls at the lobby and along Montgomery Street (in progress); Interior metal stud framing; and Historical building masonry re-pointing and building bracing. The project is currently under construction. Construction on the new 39,000 sq.ft. center started on October 31, 2016. Estimated date of Substatial Completion will be June/July 2018 and about 50% of the construction has been done. Construction Milestones Completed- 1. Site Demolition 2.
