The City has been working with Georgia Power over the last quarter to develop a plan for additional decorative pedestrian scale lights, as well as LED flood lights attached to street poles, so that the wooden pole lights and overhead wiring can be removed. The final plan has been sent to the City and once approved it will take approximately 8 weeks for the decorative poles to be ready for installation. Also we have installed additional trash receptacles and wooden bollards along the sidewalk to restrict vehicles from entering the park area.
