Change order to correct storm water issues has been completed. Jogging trail, lighting, benched, receptacle, bollards have been installed. Close out process has begun.

During the 2nd quarter of 2020 stormwater work has continued begun and the jogging trail is 80% complete. Project is expected to be completed by 9/20.

Project has been brought into budget after value engineering process. Construction is currently on the 4/9/20 agenda for approval.

After last batch of value engineering, the project is still over budget. CIP team has reopened value engineering to get project within budget.

Wolverton engineering has completed site plans and Johnson-Laux will be used as the contractor through Gordian using the state contract. Currently working on some value engineering items to insure project is within budget, specifically decreasing the piling depth for the walking bridges. Once we receive proposal from Johnson-Laux, project will be placed on council for approval.

CIP RE0222 was previously Holly Heights Greenspace. On September 13, 2018 City Council approved Amendment #6 which included Holly Heights Greenspace funding to be used to establish a Twickenham Greenspace capital account, resulting in RE0222 changing to Twickenham Greenspace. To date, staff prepared conceptual plans for the Twickenham Greenspace to include a walking trail, bridges, benches, trash cans, lighting, ornamental plantings and a dog park.

The Holly Heights Master Plan was revised by relocating many elements to non-FEMA lots and removing the Community Center. The design phase is anticipated to commence July 2018 with construction starting by December 2018.

A conceptual plan for park development includes a playground, shelter, community garden, basketball court and community center. Costs and concept options are being investigated and evaluated. Completion of initial design documents is expected in July.
