12/11/2020 8:52:48 PM: Project construction completed in September of 2019. Corrections to record drawings received from design consultant to be approved prior to closing out of permit and purchase order, which is expected in 4th quarter.
7/20/2020 5:37:12 PM: Project construction completed in September of 2019. Corrections to record drawings received from design consultant to be approved prior to closing out of permit and purchase order, which is expected in 3rd quarter.
4/4/2020 11:13:24 PM: Project construction completed in September of 2019. Close-out change order was approved by City Council on January 16 and the construction contract has since been closed out. Record drawings are expected to be completed by design consultant in 2nd quarter of 2020.
12/18/2019 4:39:07 PM: Cann Park improvements were completed and ribbon cutting held on Sept. 23, and now park offers a walking trail with rubberized track, pedestrian lighting, landscaping, expanded playground area, resurfaced basketball court, park benches, water fountain and bleachers. A close-out contract modification for the general construction contract has been submitted to City Council for approval.
9/27/2019 9:22:45 AM: Cann Park improvements were completed and ribbon cutting held on Sept. 23, and now park offers a walking trail with rubberized track, pedestrian lighting, landscaping, expanded playground area, resurface basketball court, park benches, water fountain and bleachers.
7/11/2019 9:10:36 AM: Concrete installations to be substantially completed by 07/04/19 and followed by jogging track installation. Underground wiring for pedestrian lighting to be completed by Georgia Power by 07/04/19. Project completion is expected in July 2019.
4/12/2019 12:22:02 PM: Sidewalk demolition and grading is underway. The first phase of new sidewalk installation is expected to start in April. The pedestrian lighting plan for the park is being reworked. Project completion expected by end of May.
1/2/2019 1:20:19 PM: Construction is expected to start in January 2019. The walking trail will include concrete sidewalk as well as rubberized surface around the perimeter of the park. Amenities will include lighting and park benches.
