Funds were spent to repair the grandstand areas to seal leaks that were infiltrating into the locker room, installed new chairback seats, and painted the bench seats. Staff is currently finalizing a scope of work and cost to replace the wood decking on the first base side with new aluminum decking.

December 2023. Repairs to the grandstands are nearly complete, and new chairs are scheduled to be installed in January.

June 2023. The CIP has a current balance of $2.3M with $80k in open POs for an effective balance of about $2.2M. Recently, the sound system had failed and was replaced. Staff have bid out and awarded a new seating contract to replace seats behind home plate. Staff is bidding out repairs to the grandstands and wood decking. Staff also plans to replace the field this fall.
