9/16/2021 9:59:40 AM: The City sent the project out for pricing in the second quarter, we are expected to receive pricing in the third quarter. Once the pricing information is received we will review, and continue with the next steps of the project.
6/21/2021 9:43:05 AM: Final design is now complete. Construction is expected to begin summer 2021 and last 12 months.
12/11/2020 10:30:24 AM: Final design is underway expected design completion December 2020. Construction expected to start summer 2021. Expected 12 month construction schedule.

12/12/2019 11:10:53 AM: Meeting with Thomas & Hutton to discuss updated proposal on September 10,2019. Thomas & Hutton responded October 6, 2019. City submitted response letter to T&H December 2, 2019. Awaiting response from T&H.
10/4/2019 10:54:00 AM: Thomas & Hutton submitted a change order due to delays in final design. Met with Thomas & Hutton September 10, 2019 to discuss changes. Thomas & Hutton will revise proposal expected October 14, 2019.
7/3/2019 12:06:04 PM: The design contract was awarded to Thomas and Hutton Engineering on July 7, 2015 in the amount of $378,000.00. The environmental permit application for the Coastal Marshlands Protection Act was approved by the Coastal Marshland Protection Act Committee on February 22, 2019. The United States Army Corps of Engineers permit was approved on March 29, 2019. Contractor submittals for a statement of qualifications were received in the second quarter 2019 and a list of qualified contractors for the project have been posted to the City's website.
4/1/2019 1:22:25 PM: The design contract was awarded to Thomas and Hutton Engineering on July 7, 2015 in the amount of $378,000.00. The environmental permit application for the Coastal Marshlands Protection Act was approved by the Coastal Marshland Protection Act Committee on February 22, 2019. The United States Army Corps of Engineers permit was approved on March 29, 2019. A request for a statement of qualifications for contractors is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2019.

11/1/2017 3:18:54 PM: The design contract was awarded to Thomas and Hutton Engineering on July 7, 2015 in the amount of $378,000.00. The riprain rights for the Marriott Hotel were received in August 2017. Thomas and Hutton is currently updating the plans for a revised layout. Once the plans are revised, the environmental permitting application will be submitted to the EPD and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
